Project #1 – Website Mockups for Be the Link International
Objective: Create mock-ups of 4 webpages, design a favicon, and draft a typography guide for Be the Link International
Project #2 – iGoogle Headers
Objective: Create mock-ups for iGoogle headers for each of the four seasons
I used images from antique postcards that captured each season’s colors and feeling.
Project #3 – Bookmarks
Objective: Design four bookmarks in the theme of the cardinal directions
My bookmarks listed destination cities in each of the four hemispheres and the best months to visit them.
Project #4 – Fruit Alphabet
Objective: Design an English alphabet poster on the theme of my choice
I used antique botanical illustrations to represent each letter of the alphabet.
Project #5 – Conference Mailer
Objective: Design a mailer for an annual conference
Project #6 – Website Mockups for Selma Café
Objective: Create mock-ups for a 12-page website as well as a web identity guide
I created mock-ups for an underground “breakfast salon” that raised funds to build hoop houses for local farmers. I chose a color scheme based on the brown of coffee and earthy farming roots.
Project #7 – Logo
Objective: Design a logo and draft an accompanying style guide for the Ecumenical Center & International Residence (ECIR), a living-learning community for international students at the University of Michigan
The logo I created was inspired by a tower-shaped architectural element of the ECIR building.
Project #8 – Family Tree
Objective: Design a family tree representing five generations of my family
